The gem electronics 305-5TP crimp-crimp connector is designed for RG6 connections. Featuring a bright Nickel finish, The connector utilizes captive, self-energizing gold-plated center contact for a solid connection. Gem BNC crimp-crimp connectors are used for higher frequency applications up to 1GHz because the center contact is more closely matched to the center conductor of the cable. The crimped center contact provides a lower VSWR (voltage standing Wave ratio) at higher frequencies (use a 75-Ohm connector above 1GHz). also used for cables with a flexible stranded center conductor. Perfect for CCTV, HD-TVI, CVI, AHD and IP over coax, with a 50 Ohm impedance and 18 AWG, .270 - .280 jacket O.D. (Pack of 10)
